Free Workshop for Educators: How to Create a Book in Second Life®

When: Saturday, September 17, 2016, at 10 a.m. SLT
Where: The E-Learning Garden (Chilbo, Second Life®)
Duration: 90 minutes
Format: Text
SL Facilitator: Camie Rembrandt

The main purpose of this workshop is helping educators (teachers, trainers, librarians, etc.) to learn how easy it is to turn presentations and other teaching materials into books.

Participants will get the hands-on experience of collaboratively creating a book using a free full-perm template.

The workshop will follow the instructions on the step by step guide "How to Create a Book Using a Free Full-Perm Template" - it is strongly suggested that you read this book before enrolling.

After the workshop, all participants will receive a ‘Book Kit’ to start creating and distributing their own books.

Workshop participants will also have the opportunity to take a Quiz - with Prizes - about Linden Lab Official Snapshot and Machinima Policy.

So, if you're interested in learning how to turn your presentations and other teaching materials into books, sign up today using the form embedded on this post.

Please notice: because this workshop involves a lot of active/collaborative learning, places are limited to six educators per session and are filled on a 'first come first served' basis. Also important to know: the enrollment form will be closed 2 hours before the workshop.
